The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of automated library systems, Dewey Decimal System, children’s authors and illustrators, technology search engines, etc. for research. Must be able to manage a budget and build, maintain a collection that supports both curriculum and student interest. Promote reading and provide a program of research and library usage instruction to facilitate student success. Collaborate with classroom teachers to create a rich and supportive learning environment for students.

Must have current Maine State teachers certification w/ Library Media specialist endorsement..
